"Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity."

Holistically considered, a person is thus never "very healthy" and never "sick".

Basically, the understanding and knowledge about the causes of the emergence or development of a disease of great importance.

  • Ø   physiological needs:

Breathing, sleep, food, warmth, health, housing, clothing, sexuality, movement

Deficit needs and insatiable needs

The lower three levels of the pyramid (and also part of the fourth) are also called deficiency needs.
